Snippets of Hanoi

A whole street selling nothing but sunglasses

After stopping ourselves from eating street food for the past 2 days, we finally caved in. Of course we doubled checked our supply of diarrhoea pills first. The food was absolutely delicious, when we were not thinking of the chicken being grilled 2 inches off the main road and all the soot of the traffic that has accummulated on it. Maybe that was what made it so good.

Ho Chi Minh Masouleum - the queue to get in was at least 500m long. It moved quite quickly though, cos no one was allowed to linger in the room where he laid. Horrible queue cutters everywhere! After being cut in countless times, he couldn't stand it at the Ho Chi Min's House ticketing counter. He ordered a bunch of Taiwanese tourists to get in line - and it wasn't even our queue they'd cut. You can take the man out of Singapore, but you can't take Singapore out if the man!
